Rakesh Roshan Lal Nagrath, better known as Rakesh Roshan, is an Indian producer, director and former actor in Bollywood films. He is known for having the greatest hero roles in many films in the period 1970-1990. He appeared in 84 films throughout the 1970s, 1980s till 1990. Later he achieved fame for directing films with titles beginning with the letter "K" since 1987 and is the father of actor Hrithik Roshan.
