Biography
|
Kanwaljeet Singh hails from a Sikh family of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. After graduation, he joined the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune.
Career
His first film was Dastaan-e-Laila Majnu followed by Hum Rahe Na Hum by Vijay Anand, Shart, Shaque by Ketan Anand. In the Hindi film Ashanti he had a chance to co-star with Zeenat Aman while working with top notch stars of Bollywood like Rajesh Khanna, Shabana Azmi, Parveen Babi and Mithun Chakraborty.
