Synopsis: Teenanko is a super natural thriller. A gripping account of three women across three disctinct periods 1890, 1965 & 2016, connected under mysterious circumstances.
A Journalist in search of her sudden supernatural hallucinations, searches for an answer that invites her to a web of incidents and dramatic tales of two different women , when she finally explores the answer of that one prime question that always disturbed her How would a woman avenge her lost dignity ?
The story is structured like a non linear narrative, which intersperses the time travel in an extremely edgy screenplay which will leave the audience unblinkably curious.
Created like an edge of the seat thriller that engages the audience , it has an extremely intense core that is the essence of the story. it infuses with it many scenerios which brings into light the grave potrayal of wrong practises against women in our society under the garb of Traditional Values .
From witch accusations to present day street side molestation, it potrays how in every era the womanhood has always been cursed and oppressed in our male dominated society.
Subjects that are normally either considered grave, brave or a taboo has been showcased in the film. From the most ignored issue of women sexual dissatisfaction because of her husbands impotency to the tradition of witch killing all these sensitive issues are potrayed in the film by the director.
